EHGLISH SPEECH

Assalamu'alaikum wr. wb. 

Excellency our head master 

Honorable teachers

And dear brother and sister

            All praise to Allah. I bear witness that there is no worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.

            And May Sholawat and salam be with our prophet Muhammad SAW, because of him we can differ which the right or the wrong ones.

            And I’ll never forget to thank Mr. Ceremony who has given me the opportunity to deliver my speech in front of you all, under the title A GOOD MOSLEM.

Dear brother and sister,

            Islam teaches us the oneness of Allah. An equation of Allah is considered as biggest sin. Allah can not be divided into personalities. Allah has no equal, no wife, no children, no match, no parent, and there is nothing which equals him.  

Dear brother and sister

            A good Muslim is not the one who can speak Arabic well. He is not the one who usually wears sarong or cap. But the good Muslim is the one who proclaims that there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His servant and His messenger.

            A good Muslim is also the one who establishes the five times daily prayer; give legal alms namely zakat, keep the fast, and goes for pilgrimage to Mecca if he is able to do so.  Otherwise, he has to talk the truth and doing the good deeds wherever and whenever he is.

Dear my beloved brothers,

            You duty now is to show your Islamic identity though you live in non Muslim country, you have to show your Islamic identity although you work amongst irreligious society. Have no fear to say: I am a Muslim, however many hypocrites or idolaters may be averse.

            I think enough here for my speech, I apologize for my mistakes if any. And wassalamamu'alaikum wr. wb.
